THE 1ST STEP
Eric Stepniewski's adventure with bronze started in 1973 in Paris (France), he’s hometown, where he started to work as an antique dealer. After many years of managing his Gallery, he took over the famous galvanizing and antiques restoration company: Bettencourt.
In 1989, he’s decided to bring the company to a next level and moved to Poland, the country of his parents, to create his own collections using his favorite materials: gold, silver, malachite and lapis lazuli.
The most respected museums such as the Wilanów castle museum, the Royal Castle and the Archdiocese museum hired him to preserve their most precious pieces, allowing him to make replicas of chosen objects in exchange. In this way, and also by designing his own pieces, he collected an impressive collection.
Through the years, he became a well renowned curator. Amongst others, he’s created pieces ordered by the government to the Presidential Palace.

Thanks to the quality of his work, he had the opportunity to meet and work for some Polish Presidents, worldwide movie directors, renowned architects and many more...
In his private life, he has met at a Polish Film Festival his life partner, the actress Grazyna Szapolowska.
THE NEXT STEP
Since few years, Romy, his daughter and founder of Avenue de Paris real estates agency, joined the company as the COO.
Together, they continued to develop the company on new markets, and organized new collaborations with the goal of creating the antiques of the future.
