226 - Pair of torches
This stunning pair of torchères presents a captivating narrative through its exquisite design. Each torchère features a beautifully sculpted figure, one a boy and the other a girl, crafted from oxidized brass, lending an antique and sophisticated feel. They gracefully carry cornucopias, symbols of abundance, adorned with delicate bouquets of flowers. From these cornucopias rise thirteen arms of light, meticulously crafted from chiseled brass and lavishly plated with 24-karat gold, creating a radiant display. These torchères are not merely light sources, but works of art that tell a story, adding a touch of elegance and historical charm to any space.
