209M - Column stand
This impressive column stand, designed by Eric Stepniewski, is a masterful fusion of natural beauty and opulent craftsmanship. The piece features a central malachite pillar flanked by four gilt brass columns, all adorned with grapevine motifs, creating a visually compelling and luxurious design. The stand's central pillar is entirely encased in genuine malachite stone, showcasing its unique banding patterns and vibrant green hues. This natural material brings a sense of organic elegance and makes each piece uniquely beautiful.
Four flanking columns are meticulously crafted from chiseled brass, providing a robust and intricately detailed framework. The brass columns are lavishly plated with 24-carat gold, bestowing a radiant, opulent finish. This precious metal coating enhances the stand's grandeur and ensures a lasting brilliance. Each gilt brass column is adorned with intricately chiseled grapevine motifs, winding their way up the column's length. These motifs, symbolizing abundance and celebration, add a touch of classical ornamentation and visual interest.
