095M- Malachite and gilded brass vase-candelabra
This exceptional candelabra is a testament to the opulence and artistry of the Rococo period. The central body of the candelabra is crafted from vibrant malachite stone, showcasing the mineral's unique swirling patterns and rich emerald hues.
The malachite body is further embellished with elaborately chased and gilded bronze mounts, crafted from brass and plated with 24-karat gold. These mounts exhibit a high degree of artistry and detail, reflecting the refined craftsmanship of the Rococo era.
The candelabra features sixteen lights, arranged in two tiers, each supported by intricately detailed gilt-bronze arms. These arms are adorned with delicate shells and scrolling leaves, capturing the naturalistic motifs favored during the Rococo period.
The base of the candelabra, also crafted from gilt-bronze, features elaborate scrolling feet and intricate detailing, providing a stable and visually appealing foundation.
